Meet Rita
Hi, I’m Rita, the owner and lead designer of Events by Rita & Co.
I’m a wife, a proud mom of three, and a grandma who believes life’s best moments deserve to be celebrated beautifully.
Originally from the Philippines, I moved to the U.S. nearly 30 years ago. After spending many years raising my family, I followed my passion for decorating and turned it into a business in 2018.
It began with a Christmas party at my home—friends loved the decor, shared photos, and soon I was getting hired.
Today, I specialize in luxury Christmas decorating, custom balloon installations, and elegant faux floral designs for weddings and special events throughout Upstate South Carolina.
I believe every celebration is unique, and every design should reflect the people it’s created for. My goal is to make the decorating process easy, enjoyable, and stress-free while creating beautiful spaces you’ll remember for years to come.

Rita is amazing! I needed help with my 12 foot Christmas tree and had no idea where to start. Rita was fast responding, asked me what I already had, and what inspo pics I had and went to work. She shopped all my decor within my budget and came and decorated the most beautiful tree! Highly recommend!!!!
